It's great to see Aden thriving so much as a social butterfly, especially since his dance card for the next week or so promises to be packed. Hopefully everyone will be able to handle his love of drool and fart noises. Personally I think that in his hands, they're elevated to an art form, but we all know that not everyone knows what to think of avant-garde art. And if there's one thing that Aden's proving on a daily basis, he's a (little) man bent on pushing the boundaries of his age. Like Picasso without all the anger-management issues, or Van Gogh with both ears, or, uh, Jackson Pollock with a bottle full of formula. You get the idea.

That is a heckuva stylish mustache!
Aden is clearly in good hands.
I hope Aden is adjusting to the cold weather okay - it just occurs to me, seeing all his fuzzy winter duds, that this is probably a very new thing for him.
Oh yeah - when it comes to facial hair, we Witherses don't fool around!
And so far, so good on the cold front (pun intended). Aden seems to handle the cold just about the same way he handles any other inconvenience or obstacle: he plows through it like a tank.
is there any chance that I might get to swing on your dad's moustache?
I myself am still having some difficulty with the whole dad is grandpa thing. that people are talking about moi when they say dad and dad when they say grandpa... my goodness!
I'm beginning to wonder if I am, indeed, my own grandpa.
I am assuming that the editor Galaxy is Adam...even the comments on your blog make me chortle. The pictures of Aden and Grandpa warmed my hearts and now grace my screen saver. I cannot wait to be with you all and give tons of hugs and kisses to Aden and of course his beloved parents. Pop said he forgot to kiss Aden's toes...now I ask you how to could he forget. I won't. Till the kisses start flowing next week. Love and Hugs, Mom, Gramma, Marjorie
Aden does seem to take changes remarkably in stride, but from the pictures he looks to me more gentle and thoughtful than a tank.
I assume that pretty soon he gets to try out the real New England winter in Maine and meet more of his large family. Best wishes to him and to the crowd there for the holiday.
Great aunt Ann
Marjorie! Yes, indeed, editor galaxy is my internet "handle". And I'm just as embarassed about it as everyone else...
Elizabeth is right on the edge of rolling over. There's a lot of, "Get in here! Get in here!" Today, free of the tyranny that is pants and a diaper, she managed to wiggle a very good distance across the living room carpet, her tiny little bee-hind aimed directly at her mother.
But she can't quite get her arm out of the way and so--she's stuck at a half turn.
I can't imgine coming home with a baby who can already walk! We're not even prepared for crawling...
