Say what you will about Guatemala City, they know how to throw a party. Once again, three blocks from our hotel: drumming! dancing! fireworks! more dancing! more fireworks!
If Wren's theory is right, they're REALLY psyched that we're here to take Aden home.

Perhaps Guatamala is celebrating because they fooled two Americans to bring the Drunken Monkey home... where he will berserk his way from Providence to San Francisco, destroying all in his path. "Hooray! Godzilla (AKA the adoption agency) has once more saved our city!" I feel your pain re. a child fighting sleep, tho ours can only scream and kick her little legs in the air... soon, my friends, you will achieve a zen state of exhaustion that will allow you to forget about sleep, like reverse hypnotism: "you are getting very wakey..."
Now that I've found you, can't resist commenting on what a giddy pleasure it is to come to this blog late and read through all the postings in a row, like a fever chart of exhaustion and delight. And what a cutey he is!
I think that between Adam & Andrea we've got a pretty accurate picture of Aden right now: a giddy pleasure full of fever & delight who is ready to level a small city.
Maybe the only way to beat a Drunken Monkey is to play his game? Have some more red wine guys!
